PresidentAtit Shah is the Co-founder and current President of United Gujaratis of Australia Inc. With a strong focus on community engagement, Atit brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to his role. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a Justice of the Peace (JP), combining professional expertise with a sincere commitment to cultural and community development. Having previously served as the Secretary and Treasurer of UGA, Atit remains steadfast in ensuring strong community ties and unity among the community. Outside of his professional and community responsibilities, Atit is an avid reader.
Aneri Upadhyay
TreasurerAneri is a proud Gujarati woman and passionate community leader who believes in the power of culture, connection, and representation. As Treasurer of United Gujaratis of Australia, she plays an active role in supporting the organisation’s overall success and impact. Aneri brings a strong flair for events, with a love for creating vibrant, inclusive experiences that bring people together.
In her professional life, she works in early careers recruitment, championing opportunities for young people and advocating for greater representation of women in leadership. Deeply committed to inspiring the next generation to stay connected to their roots, Aneri leads with pride, purpose, and joy—building a community that celebrates culture and empowers every voice.
Amit Vyas
Committee MemberAmit Vyas is a highly accomplished Chemical Engineer who migrated to Australia in 2008 on Permanent Residency, after working in the corporate sector for 10 years as a Chemical Plant Manager, he decided to pivot his career and became an entrepreneur in 2019. He founded Ozira, an industrial water treatment business that reflects his commitment to sustainability and innovation in the water sector. The name "Ozira" is derived from the Sanskrit word for "Australian Water."
Additionally, Amit ventured into the construction industry, starting two successful businesses: Luxia Homes in 2019 and Valuxe Homes in 2020. These businesses focus on delivering quality construction projects, further showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
Amit has also made significant contributions to the community. He was the founder and president of United Gujaratis of Australia (UGA) from its inception until 2022, he continues to be part of UGA as committee member.
Viral Patel

Today, he is at the forefront of the retail industry with his venture. His forward-thinking approach and understanding of customer needs have positioned his brand as a trusted and innovative brand.
Beyond his business ventures, Viral served as the President of the United Gujarati Association (UGA), where his vision and dedication significantly advanced the organization's growth, outreach, and impact. His leadership continues to inspire others in both business and community circles.
Rohan Patel
